I think we can all agree that some people *want* more bank runs and economic chaos

Some of them:

• Anyone who gains economically from bank runs (e.g. short sellers)

• Foreign enemies (e.g. Russia, China, Iran, North Korea) who want a weakened U.S.

• Leftists who want capitalism to fail so we can have more socialism

• Rightist accelerationist preppers eager to be proven right and to finally use their stashes of provisions, precious metals, and guns

• 4chan/pol/ nihilists/pranksters (already taking about ways of inciting bank runs) doing it for the keks

I'm not saying any particular group is causing it, helping it along, or just watching it unfold and planning to take advantage. But it seems clear that lots of different groups have motives for things to get bad. It will be interesting to see what happens this week.
