Republicans are so worried about the moral health of our nation, yet one cannot be a follower of mega and a follower of Christ. The two inhabit opposite moral poles.

We see hyper-religious characters like Mike Johnson, casually, breaking commandments in support of a voraciously lying president.
We see forgiveness replaced by “Own the Libs.” Truth replaced by lies, humility and service replaced by grift and shameless self promotion.

In the end, if historians look back, I’m confident that they will conclude that it was not a lack of religion in schools that pushed America down. It was the conflation of MAGA and religion that stripped Christianity of everything but power, which it placed at the feet of this administration.
