Myths and Facts on the Blame for US Economic Woes

The US housing bubble wasn't unique; many other countries had their own. The Fed can't be blamed for the bubble which was fueled by bad lending practices. But the stock market's punishment of bank stocks far exceeds the actual potential losses due to bad loans.
