I dought it was a malicious attack on the Rockies Web Site.

I seriously dought that it was a malicious attack on the rockies web site yesterday. There were 8.5 million hits in 90 minutes. I know in that 90 minute period I clicked the link several hundred times because of timeouts. If I use an average of 200 clicks per person in that 90 minute period, then there were about 42000 people trying to get tickets. Factor in that alot of people were using multiple commuters and multiple browsers, that number seems very reasonable.

I think there serversw were just not able to handle this load. And if this is the case and they don't signifigantly upgrade their infrastructure, they will have the same problem today. I sure hope not, because I want tickets.

I hope that they don't start blocking users using multiple computers or browsers , and calling them attackers.
