Guns should be treated like cars.

I think guns should be treated just like cars. You should need a license for your guns, for which you should have pass a test to verify you know the rules and how to use it safely. Also every gun needs to to be insured against accidents and in case they are used in a crime. Also each gun needs to be registered and test fired for a ballistics record.
