The British realize it, the majority of Americans have known it for some time, and even Bush's own generals said it until he fired them and replaced them with the partisan Gen. Petraeus. Now we are going to wait until Sept. when Petraeus tells us that the surge needs more time, and Bush will plead for more patience while our troops die.
