This is a fact from early 2005. After this was published, the deficit for FY 2005 was an additional $760 billion.
Too bad everyone didn't get the real facts when this was highlighted on Digg today. The number is closer to $2.8 trillion now, almost 3 times the combined debt prior to year 2000.
