White House, Senate headed for subpoena showdown

The Bush Administration and a Senate committee are heading for a showdown as the hours tick away until a deadline for White House compliance with Senate Judiciary Committee subpoenas related to President Bush's warrantless wiretapping program. Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), the committee's chairman, gave the White House until 2:30 p.m. Monday to comply
