President Bush is considering lobbing a few cruise missiles at the Kurdish PKK, a rebel group holed up in Iraq’s northern mountainous region, if it looks like "the only way" to stave off a Turkish border crossing. This is what is called a bad idea, since it could widen the chaos in Iraq.
