OK, can't take anymore covid threads. Let's talk money. We're in a big stock market bubble that everyone is in denial about, with many stocks extremely overvalued and despite horrible economic stats and political strife.

I think the Evergrande bits of info are a warning from the elite. People stupidly think the government actually tells you a crash is coming. It never happens. They give just enough hints for smart people to pick up on, then go back into the shadows.

Now they're dropping very very minor hints and pretending not to know whether Evergrande made interest payments or not. I also had to go to pretty alternative sites to find out that two other companies (Sinic and Chinese Properties) also defaulted on bond payments.

I believe this means "they will also definitely default and bankruptcy proceedings will be forthcoming" and stocks will crash warning.

same way in early 2020 when a few people started "fearmongering" about reverse repo. They know 99.5% of people ignore it or think it's a conspiracy to discuss crashes before they happen.

Edit: just to clarify what "default" means in this case, it means missing either interest payments on bonds to bondholders, or not paying back the principal at the bond maturity date. This is really bad given how bonds are seen as the safe alternative to stocks.

Watching news recently about Russia blowing up a Satellite and creating lots of debris, like around 1500 pieces.

In space debris moves at such speeds where it might destroy objects it hits.

Which can eventually lead to Kessler Syndrome. A scenario in which the density of objects in low-Earth orbit is high enough that collisions between objects cause a cascade, with each collision generating space debris that increases the likelihood of further collisions. This leads to space becoming unreachable and all satellites getting destroyed.

Questions:

How realistic do you think Kessler Syndrome is and in what timeframe it might happen?
How realistic do you think it would be for rogue nations like Iran and North Korea or even Russia using it as last resort to cripple all the competing countries?
Which companies right now are operating in field of "space cleanup"? Which are the most promising ones and where do I find out more about them?
Is there any way to model threats of Kessler Syndrome situation being triggered depending on the amount of debree floating in orbit. If yes, how do these models work and how are those probabilities calculated?
