In the 1980s to fight inflation, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates to over 14%. Nowadays, they are raising rates at an abysmally slow pace to attempt to combat inflation, and inflation is going out of control. Even these low rate increases are choking the stock market and causing housing prices to fall/the housing market to slow down dramatically, while monthly home payments increase for new buyers due to the higher rates.
Basically, we are living in a fantasy world which was facilitated by low interest rates and now reality is hitting.
The only way to stop inflation is for the Fed to dramatically raise rates. Which they can't do because it will implode our economy.

Why would they be combatting the science and the reality of climate change and the destruction of our home? Their bottom line. Chevron did research and found that climate change is a thing, yet hid that research because it would ruin their profits. When you see anything being pushed, think of who and why. This includes vaccines, oil, food, everything. But big oil is fucking terrified of the consequences of people switching over to renewables. Trump claimed that windmills were bad because they killed birds while his secretary of state was CEO of exxonmobile until he became the secretary of state. Climate change being labeled as fake or a hoax is blantantly being pushed by big oils bottom line. Yes I know that people who preach climate change fly on private jets and that is shitty and something I disagree with but climate change sucks and effects or will effect your entire home; this earth.
