Today marks 13 years since we raised the minimum wage to $7.25 an hour. That’s the longest period without a raise in the history of the minimum wage. That is egregious.
Just so we’re clear -
Any party telling you who you can love, what gender you are, what states you can travel to, which books you can read, which history you can learn, what prayers you should say and what you can & cannot do with your own body, doesn’t give a f*ck about freedom.
New: Jan. 6 committee vice chair Liz Cheney on CNN says of Ginni Thomas in something of an escalation: “The committee hopes she will agree to come in voluntarily but the committee is fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena if she is not.”
The Republican Party is trying to gain power by sacrificing the rights and safety of women, gays, minorities and “undesirable” religious groups. They’re only a party for old white men, not for all of America.
Now that Rupert Murdoch has declared Trump to be unworthy of reelection in 2024 due to his “damning” silence on January 6, some hope that Republicans will begin to abandon him.
