US Government Gold Confiscation in a Post-Dollar Currency Crisis

There’s an ongoing debate about whether the U.S. Government might ever repeat FDR’s 1933 confiscation of privately held gold. It raises the secondary question of whether such a confiscation would exempt rare (“numismatic”) coins, as the Roosevelt confiscation did.
