U.S. Stocks Flat After Sell-Off Abroad

Stocks opened the week in grim fashion in Asian and European trading Monday, falling heavily amid lingering worries about banking sector debts and a slowdown in the United States economy. Wall Street opened modestly lower but made up the losses in the first hour.
