The best remedy for inflated bureaucracy is the diminution of government and the services that it provides. The worst path would be pursuing the one followed by the ideologues in the Bush Administration, who are quite actively working to expand the powers of the Presidency; an expansion of authority that is leveled at the peril of civil liberties.
