Job #1 at the Federal Reserve is the suppression of the price of gold. This keeps naive investors convinced that the dollar truly is the place to invest since gold is viewed as a economic barometer. There is documented proof of this manipulation but none of it has made its way to the mainstream. There is more paper gold & silver than physical.
