By a vote of 61-37, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 -better known as the stimulus bill- was passed by the Senate on Tuesday. The price on the final Senate version: $838 billion. The next step will be to sync the Senate version last week's $819B package passed by the House, before sending the bill to President Obama for signature.
