Surprise: Banks in UK Aren't Lending Stimulus Money Either

Labour set up a £1billion loan guarantee scheme last month to encourage banks to lend more to small businesses. But so far, banks have lent only around £12million to firms through the scheme. It's good to know that we can form a support group with our friends across the pond as they get bent over by the banks and their own government too.
