The great Social Security and Medicare panic: Not so logical

The 2009 edition of the “Status of the Social Security and Medicare Programs” is a swamp of data that is only useful if it turns out to be correct. There is no evidence that most of the assumptions are accurate any more than there is proof that the new federal budget and its forecast deficits are accurate.
