I think the funniest thing about being called a “conspiracy theorist” is that one of the OG conspiracies(JFK) was recently confirmed. It was declassified in a FBI document that the surgeon general confirmed the 2nd shooter because there was a bullet hole through his throat and windshield.

An argument for why the Federal Reserve is used besides enriching the elite (and why it's still terrible for you)
I think the core motivation for why many of us are "conspiracy theorists" is that we are trying to find out what forces are acting upon us. It's clear that there are hidden forces at work in society that each have unique and often mysterious goals to achieve that are usually NOT for our benefit.
When you look into MK Ultra and various other programs like Mockingbird, it becomes clear that not only were they successful, but they are much more massive and ingrained into our psyches that we could have ever imagined. It goes far beyond the information that is "leaked" out to us. For example, MK Ultra has completely taken over western media, almost all media is created with an agenda and that agenda has been beaten into everyone who works in media so that they subconsciously push a predetermined goal. This was the true goal of MK Ultra, which is mind control, the stuff about brainwashing people with LSD and electroshocks was basically misdirection to keep us from seeing how successful MK Ultra was as a whole. (I could write an entire separate post on this).
Now everyone here knows that modern day money isn't backed by anything and is essentially fake, and that the FED can print unlimited amounts of money and therefore it costs them the same to lend you $5 or $50,000,000 (meaning it costs them nothing), but the debt incurred by you which must be paid back is VERY REAL since it is taken from your labor.
Everyone thinks that this is a ploy to enrich the elite, which is certainly true, but I think there was another goal in mind when they created this system.
They literally turned money and materialism into a god which people worship. They fundamentally shifted the way people think and behave just like MK Ultra media is doing to us right now. As much as fractional reserve banking and the FED enrich the elite, the system also allows average people to become "fabulously" rich on a smaller level. While few people have trillions or billions, MANY people have millions, tens of millions, and this has a trickle down effect of driving people into a frenzy of greed, pushing people to compete for wealth as a lifestyle. It is the same principle with MK Ultra where all the successful and working media figures have been indoctrinated by the goals set by MK Ultra, and therefore it creates a self-feeding loop which makes everyone else in media subconsciously work towards achieving MK Ultra's goals.
So the idea of, and reality, of "wealth" for the "common man" has been created, ingrained, and deified and is the reason we all live now. Sure, you had land barons in the past, but wealthy people in the past were beholden to those who worked under them. If you were a land baron, you could only get away with so much until the serfs rose up and destroyed you.
But now? It's "everyman for himself", everyman can be a land baron, every man can be a king, every person can be "SUPER RICH" if he just "works hard enough".
So the family unit is destroyed. Community is destroyed. The borders of nations are destroyed, because it's all about ME and how much money I can make no matter what the cost, no matter what lies I have to tell or more importantly, what lies I have to believe. Money really has become the new religion and everyone worships it. This was the true goal of the Federal Reserve Banking system, not simply to enrich the elite. It's goal was to make money the NEW GOD and drill that concept into every single person's mind on the planet. And it worked.
It's all about money and status, and people will subjugate their fellow men in order to obtain more creature comforts. The Fed Reserve is the perfect self-perpetuating system. MK Ultra is the perfect mind control mechanism, and the Fed is the perfect belief/religious control mechanism
